Precision Primary Coarse Grinding
Machine for High-Volume Paste
Production
Its working principle involves two precisely engineered discs positioned closely together; the material is fed between these rotating discs, where it is ground by the shear forces generated in the narrow gap between them.
The discs rotate at high speed relative to each other; this relative motion crushes and grinds the input product into a coarse paste with consistent particle size and texture.

other nuts to prepare base pastes.
The Procer Disc Grinder is a high-throughput wet grinding machine for coarse particle size reduction of food, spice, and chemical materials. It uses precision-matched rotating discs to grind wet materials to a consistent, coarse-to-medium particle size in a single pass.
The Disc Grinder handles wet materials including whole spices and spice pastes (chilli, coriander, cumin), grains, rice, lentils, idli and dosa batters, coconut, fruit and vegetable pulps, and coarse chemical or mineral slurries. It is not suitable for dry grinding.
Both use disc-based grinding, but a disc grinder typically operates at lower speeds and is designed for coarser, higher-viscosity materials at higher throughput. A colloid mill targets finer particle sizes for smoother emulsions and pastes. Procer can help you determine which is right for your application.
The Disc Grinder is a continuous inline machine. Material is fed in at one end and processed product exits continuously at the other, making it well suited for integration into high-throughput production lines including food processing and spice manufacturing.
Disc Grinder systems are available in multiple sizes with throughput capacities ranging from small pilot units to large production systems handling hundreds of kilograms per hour. The right size depends on your material, feed consistency, and production volume.
The grinding discs are wear components and require periodic inspection and replacement depending on material hardness and throughput. The machine is designed for easy access where discs can be changed without specialist tools. Procer supplies genuine replacement discs and maintenance guidance.
Yes. The Disc Grinder is built from food-grade stainless steel with hygienic seals and smooth surfaces that are easy to clean. It is designed for daily wash-down in food processing environments and meets food-grade material standards.
