Nexus is Procer’s inline high shear homogeniser pump. It combines pumping and high shear processing in a single unit where product is pumped through the rotor-stator zone continuously, allowing simultaneous homogenisation, emulsification, dispersion, and transfer in one pass.
Nexus is available in 24 models, with motor power ranging from 5.5 kW to 120 kW and rotor speeds from 4,500 to 12,000 RPM. This range covers applications from pilot-scale processing to full industrial production across a wide range of product viscosities and flow rates.
A centrifugal pump simply transfers liquid. Nexus simultaneously pumps and applies high shear where the rotor-stator mechanism breaks down droplets, disperses particles, and homogenises the product as it flows through the machine, replacing both a pump and a separate inline mixer.
Nexus is used in food processing (sauces, beverages, dairy, emulsified products), pharmaceuticals (oral liquids, suspensions), cosmetics (lotions, serums), and chemical manufacturing (pigment dispersions, adhesives, coatings). Any application requiring continuous inline homogenisation is a strong fit.
