The industrial peanut butter manufacturing process, step by step

Roasting

Shelled kernels dry-roast in a continuous hot-air roaster (~160 °C) to an even light-brown, developing flavour and reducing moisture below ~1%.

Cooling & Blanching

Rapid air cooling stops the roast and protects the oil; blanching rubs off skins, and screening removes hearts, scorched kernels and foreign matter.

Coarse Grinding

The Prócer Disc Grinder shears clean kernels into a consistent coarse base paste between twin precision discs, continuous, high-throughput.

Recipe Mixing

Salt (~2%), sweeteners, 1–2% stabilizer and any additives are dosed into the intermediate vessel and blended homogeneously into the warm coarse paste.

Fine Finish Cut

Cooling & Filling
